A Simple Introduction to the Python Interpreter
We introduce the Python language by showing the user how to open the Python interpreter from the Microsoft Windows Start Menu and test some of Python's basic features. Features briefly introduced include variables, logic, a formatted 'print' statement, iteration with a 'for' loop, lists and iteration over lists. This introduction will compliment the Python Tutorial by Python's creator Guido van Rossum, and the documentation over at the Beginner's Guide to Python. After this, you might want to see these RUR-PLE videos which will help you to learn Python and see this 30 minute tour of on-line Python resources.
