The Linux kernel is one of the largest and fastest-moving free software projects in existence. This talk will bring attendees up to date with a comprehensive summary of what has been happening with the kernel and where it can be expected to go from here. We'll talk about the process by which the kernel is developed, issues which are currently driving development, and the changes we can expect to see from future kernels.
