MIX08: Silverlight on a LAMP Site for Media: UVNTV.com

UVNTV.com is a LAMP site (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) that is using Windows Media servers to recreate a TV experience on the web using Microsoft Silverlight. They chose to use Silverlight becuase of the higher quality they were getting out of WMV/VC-1 than Flash's On2 codec. The team explains how and why they changed their site to use Silverlight from Flash.
