This weeks training video screencast: Have you ever installed Linux and wondered what to do next? Most Linux distributions ship with a full suite of great applications ready to use, but to make the ultimate desktop it is likely that you will need additional software such as video codecs, Skype and Azureus! To a new Linux user, installing additional software can be a little daunting. In this episode we show you how simple it is to download and install new applications, using APT (advanced packaging tool), Automatix and Synaptic Package Manager. We also take you through customising the visual theme of Ubuntu.
