Joanna Mason

Joanna Mason is a Program Manager for Expression Blend and Expression Design focusing on graphics, animation and user-experience. Enabling artists, designers and animators with powerful tools to create engaging content and interactive experiences has been at the center of Joanna's career focus for 12 years. She has worked on a variety of software applications including authoring tools for interactive applications, multi-player gaming, computer animation and special effects. In the Research and Development group at PDI/Dreamworks, Joanna created software used for feature films such as Shrek and Antz. Joanna started her career at the location based entertainment company Virtual World Entertainment helping develop titles such as BattleTech and Red Planet.

Joanna earned her MS in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Chicago. She also received her BA in Computer Science from Lake Forest college.
