Steven Harman suggested I run a Spike (a quick prototyping exercise to test out a theory) to make sure that my data access strategy will work with an actual database. Good idea.

I quickly ran into some issues with Linq To Sql, but found some neat ways to keep things clean and tidy so I don't explode my database all over my happy little application.

Each of these domains have profound differences in semantics, data types, and capabilities, and much of the complexity in today's applications is the result of these mismatches. Anders Hejlsberg, Microsoft Technical Fellow and Chief Architect for Microsoft Visual C# and LINQ, will explain how LINQ (Language Integrated Query) unifies these programming models and dramatically improves the experience of creating data intensive Web applications. Anders promises to have few slides and lots of live code demos!

Read more about this video…

Want to control this feed contents? Sign up here and create your own feed!

Want more on these topics?
Browse the archive of posts filed under Conferences, Technologies, Databases, Development, Frameworks, MIX07, LINQ, MSSQL, C#, .NET Framework
